You can better protect sensitive data by implementing PTC’s new recommendation to increase the length of an encryption key.
Additional Details
PTC recommends modifying the length of the encryption key used to protect sensitive information, from 128 bits to 256 bits. The default value for the wt.intersvrcom.siteSecurity.encryptionKey.keyLength property must be modified using the xconfmanager utility. This change should be made immediately after successfully upgrading to or a new installation of Windchill 11.0.
