Service Publishing: Publishing Content in Baseline
Product: Windchill, Windchill Service Information Manager
Release: 11.0 M020
Benefit
Publishing provides the capability to publish translated Information Structure and Publication Structure based on the baseline. When publishing source language and the relative translations, Publishing will return the related translations.
Additional Details
The publishing of translated content that is in a baseline is controlled by the ApplyTranslationFilter publishing parameter. Configure this parameter to specify whether the baseline filter criteria should be applied while publishing translated objects.
If set to true, the object version included in the baseline will be considered during publishing. When set to false, the default value, publishing will use the latest version of the translated documents. This parameter is supported in PDF, XML bundle, and Using XSL output formats.
The following limitations apply when publishing content or content holder objects that are in a baseline:
Rename of content or content holder will rename the objects in the baseline.
Rename of content or content holder and the use of 2-way metadata will change content for objects that are in the baseline.
