Windchill Customer Experience Management: eMDR Updates
Product: Windchill, Windchill Quality Solutions, Windchill Customer Experience Management
Release: 11.0 M010
Benefit
The eMDR feature has been updated to match the new FDA specification, which includes the use of Unique Device Identification (UDI). This allows customers to comply with the new standard.
Additional Details
Updates to the eMDR feature include the following:
The Edit eMDR window has been updated to include the Unique Identifier (UDI) field, as required in the HL7 specification update.
In the Create Product Activity window, the Alert Date field has been updated to the Aware Date field to be closer to language commonly used in the industry.
*
The change to the Aware Date field applies to new installations only. For upgrades and updates, the label remains as Alert Date. This label can be manually edited in the Type and Attribute Management utility.
The Additional Information Aware Date field has been added to the Create Product Activity window. This field captures the date when a customer obtains new information that is relevant to the reporting decision.
The Reportable field is now required. Administrators can control the default value by updating the Actionable property in the classification tree. Editing this field is controlled by the CEM Regulatory Decision - Reportable - Read Only preference in the Preference Management utility.
