You can now keep a reference model up-to-date in a CAD session, and receive notification from colleagues of upcoming changes to the model. This reduces rework due to miscommunication, and allows customers to better work in a concurrent environment.
Additional Details
Customers now have a mechanism to deliver information into the CAD tool when the PDM status of data that is open in a CAD session has been changed by others—most importantly, when the status is out-of-date or checked out by another user. This enhancement “pushes” the information to users, eliminating the need to ask for the information, as is the case today. Once notified, users can perform the Update PDM Action on the selected object.
