A new show.derived.reference.as.structured.child preference enables the display of a derived CAD document as the Structure child of the deriving CAD document in the WTPart structure, which can be used to generate Bill of Materials (BOM) in Windchill or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.

The show.derived.reference.as.structured.child preference can be found in the wgmclient.ini file. The default value is No. This feature is supported only by PTC Windchill Workgroup Manager for Autodesk Inventor.
