You can edit attributes that are common to both a master part and its usage in the current parts list.

Common attributes apply to all versions (all revisions and associated iterations) of a part. They are not restricted just to the usage of the part in a parts list. The Edit Common Attributes action is used to modify common attributes for all part versions.

A new menu option Edit > Edit Common Attributes is included in both the context menu and the toolbar of the Structure tab for a parts list item. Both options open the Edit Common Attributes window.
