Download events have been turned on out-of-the-box in Auditing Administration, which enables customers to be more aware of when information is being downloaded from the system. Increased awareness of download anomalies can alert customers when their IP may be at risk.

Download and View Representation events are now tracked out-of-the-box in Auditing Administration for Windchill. Increased download events of potentially sensitive information from the system can alert customers when their IP may be at risk from an attacker. Previously, administrators needed to configure Auditing Administration to track Download and View Representation events.
