Benefit
When Windchill File System (WFS) is enabled, Windchill Workgroup Manager provides Windchill PDM information within CAD application File windows, as well as in Windows Explorer. This change enables you to see updated Windchill properties for objects located in the commonspace and in the workspace.
Additional Details
The following columns can now be added to the object tables displayed within the Windchill Workgroup Manager embedded browser:
• Document Name
• Document Number
• Version (revision/iteration)
• State (lifecycle state)
• Check In State
This capability is only supported in Windchill Workgroup Manager for the following CAD applications; and only when Windchill File System (WFS) is enabled:
• AutoCAD
• NX
• SolidWorks
• Autodesk Inventor
