Compatibles Table

The Compatibles table appears on the Compatibility tab when a manufacturing capability (Manufacturing Standards Explorer) or resource (Manufacturing Resource Explorer) is selected in the navigation pane. This table can be used to manage the compatibility associations an object can have with another object.

Description

Add Compatibility

Opens the Searchwindow where you can search for an existing object to designate as a compatible object.

Remove

Removes the selected compatibility association.

Edit Usage Rates

Opens the Edit Usage Rates window, where you can define the usage times associated with the resource.

Open In

Opens the object in a Creo View window.

Open in Explorer

Opens the selected object in a new Windchill MPMLink explorer.

Select in

Use to select the selected object and its related objects in an openCreo View explorer.

Select in Explorer

Use to display a related resource in an open explorer. Select the option you would like to view the compatible object in (for example, resources in a Manufacturing Resource Explorer).

Information

Opens the Windchill PDMLink information page, which displays the actions and attributes for the object.

Cut

Places the selected object on the clipboard so you can add it as a compatible object to a different manufacturing process.

If the selected object cannot be removed, the system will perform a copy.

Copy

Places the selected object on the clipboard so the object can be a compatible object for another manufacturing process.

Paste

Places a compatible object from the clipboard into the selected location.

Column Details

Opens the Column Details window, which can be used to configure the columns displayed in the table.
