Create an Application Key and Set User Reference
Application agents connecting to ThingWorx utilize application keys to verify the authentication credentials. Complete the following steps to create an application key for users that will be used by application agents:
1. In ThingWorx Composer, click 
in the left navigation panel.

The Application Keys panel is displayed on the right.
3. Click New to create an application key.
4. In the Name field, enter a name for the key.
5. In the User Name Reference field, search for and select the created user and associate it with the application key.
6. Enter any optional information in the other fields, and click Save.
After you save the key, the key ID is displayed in the Key ID field.
