Create Opportunity
Use this action to create a new opportunity.
Using the Create Opportunity Action
To use this action in your workflow, connect it to ThingWorx Flow. To connect to the flow, do the following:
1. Drag the Create Opportunity action under the Salesforce connector to the canvas, place the pointer on the action, and then click or double-click the action. The Create Opportunity action window opens.
2. Edit the label name, if needed. By default, the label name is same as the action name.
3. To add an authorization, refer to the section Authorize Salesforce in the Salesforce connector topic.

If you have previously added an authorization for Salesforce, select an authorization from the list.
4. Enter Opportunity Name.
5. Select or specify the Stage of the opportunity.
6. Click to select the Close Date of the opportunity.
7. Click + to view the additional fields:
Select or specify the Opportunity Type.
Select or specify the Account ID that you want to associate with the opportunity.
Enter the estimated Amount of the sale.
Select or specify the Campaign ID that you want to associate with the opportunity.
Enter the closing Probability of the opportunity and the Description of the opportunity that you want to create.
Select or specify the Forecast Category Name and Lead Source of the opportunity.
Enter a description for the Next Step of the action to be taken in order to close the opportunity.
Select or specify the Owner ID to whom the opportunity is assigned.
Click Add to enter the additional information present in the user interface of the Opportunities entity.
Field Name—Name of the user interface field of the Opportunities entity that you want to add. The field name should be similar to the field name specified in the API Documentation.
Value—Value for the specified user interface field.
Click Add to enter multiple additional fields.
8. Click Done.
