Get Issues
Use this action to get a list of issues with its details in your JIRA account.
Using the Get Issues Action
To use this action in your workflow, connect it to ThingWorx Flow. To connect to the flow, do the following:
1. Drag the Get Issues action under the JIRA connector to the canvas, place the pointer on the action, and then click or double-click the action. The Get Issues action window opens.
2. Edit the label name, if needed. By default, the label name is same as the action name.
3. To add an authorization, refer to the section Authorize JIRA in the JIRA connector topic.

If you previously added an authorization for JIRA, select an authorization from the list.
4. Click + to view the additional fields, and then enter the following details:
JQL query string —A JQL query. A simple query in JQL also known as a 'clause' consists of a field, followed by an operator and one or more values or functions. For example, the simple query finds all the issues in the 'TEST' project that is project = 'Test'. JQL gives you some SQL-like syntax, such as the ORDER BY SQL keyword and ISNULL() SQL function such as the NULL keyword in JQL. However, JQL is not a database query language and JQL does not have a SELECT statement.
Start At—The index of the first issue to return. The default is set to 0.
Maximum Result—The maximum number of issues to return. The default is set to 50.
Validate JQL query—Select one of the following options:
Strict—Throws an error for invalid keyword or value in the query.
Warn—Throws a warning message for invalid keyword or value in the query.
If JQL is not correctly formed, then it throws an error irrespective of the validated query value.
Fields to be returned—A list of fields to return for each issue. By default, assignee, project, summary fields are returned. Some notations to get the fields include:
*all—All fields
*navigable—Just the navigable fields
summary, comment—Just the summary and comments
-description—Navigable fields except the description. The default is navigable for search.
*all, comment—Everything except comments
Parameters to be expand—A comma-separated list of the parameters to expand such as operations,versionedRepresentations,editmeta,changelog,renderedField
5. Click Done.
