Send an Email
Use this action to send an email to one or more recipients from the Gmail account.
Using the Send an Email Action
To use this action in your workflow, connect it to ThingWorx Flow. To connect to the flow, do the following:
1. Drag the Send an Email action under the Gmail connector to the canvas, place the pointer on the action, and then click or double-click the action. The Send an Email action window opens.
2. Edit the label name, if needed. By default, the label name is same as the action name.
3. To add a new authorization, refer to the section Authorize Gmail in the Gmail connector topic.

If you previously added an authorization for Gmail, select an authorization from the list.
4. In the To field, enter the email of the user to send an email. You can add multiple email IDs separated by a new line or separated a by comma.
5. In the Subject field, enter the subject of the email.
6. In the Body Type field, select the body type of the email such as HTML or Text.
7. In the Body field, enter the content to include in the body of the email.
8. Click + to view the additional fields and then enter the details that follows:
Cc—The email id of the user to Cc in the email. You can add multiple email IDs separated by a new line or separated by a comma.
Bcc—The email of the user to Bcc in the email. You can add multiple email IDs separated by a new line or separated by a comma.
From Name—The name you wish to display beside the sender’s email ID.
From Name—The name to display besides the sender’s email ID.
Attachments—Click Add to enter the File Path. Either enter the public URL or enter the path of the file temporarily downloaded in the workflow to send as an attachment.
Click Add to attach multiple attachments.
9. Click Done.
