Connector websocket connection errors with ThingWorx Platform
Administrator Actions
The administrator must perform the following steps when faced with this error:
Check if ThingWorx Platform is running and responsive. If ThingWorx Platform is unresponsive, then capture multiple thread dumps and a heap dump, and review the dumps.
Check if you have set the Connector configuration to use the correct WebSocket URL, WSS (secure WebSocket when using SSL/TLS), and the correct port.
Review the Connector logs to determine if any exceptions are present. If exceptions are present, refer to Exceptions Observed in the Log for eMessage Connector.
Review ThingWorx Platform logs to determine if any exceptions are present. If exceptions are present, refer to Exceptions Observed in the Log for the ThingWorx Platform.
Check if there is a firewall issue between the Connector and ThingWorx Platform.
