Uncompress flag on the Download instruction of an SCM package not working (SCM Download)
A user created and deployed an SCM package with a Download instruction that specified a zip file and set the uncompress after download flag. The agent does not uncompress the file.
Solution
The Axeda Agents support TAR_GZ formatted compressed files when the option, "Agent should uncompress this file after downloading", is selected. The agent does not report an error if the downloaded file is not in the correct format. Use a separate Execute instruction to uncompress other types of compressed files. Note that the executable for the compression utility must exist on the device.
