What’s New for all Connected Service Products in 7.1.1
Group Based Access
A CSLM users group is available with permissions to the run-time capabilities (mashup services) of the extensions. Users in this group can access all of the Servigistics Extensions for ThingWorx and APIs without being in the ThingWorx Administration group.
Connected SLM App Switcher and Start Console
The Remote Access and Control tile was removed from the Connected SLM App Switcher and Start Console. The Asset Manager tile and Alert Manager tile were added to the Connected SLM App Switcher and Start Console.
Extension Version and Build Information
Extension version and build information for all connected Service Lifecycle Management extensions is now available on the ThingWorx Composer's Installed Extension Packages page.
Edge Microserver Simulator
The Connected SLM Accelerator now includes the ThingWorx Edge Microserver Simulator.
Connected Service Help Center
Full Connected Service 7.1 documentation is available by clicking the
Connected Service Help Center tile on the
CSLM Start Console. PDF versions of the Release Notes and installation guides are also available on the
Reference Documents area of
support.ptc.com.
ThingWorx User Authentication
Users logging into ThingWorx will be required to provide their ThingWorx user name and password. This allows users to access ThingWorx without requiring a valid ServiceMax account. Users of ServiceMax must be configured correctly to view ThingWorx mashups and utilities.
Updated ThingWorx Product Names
Several ThingWorx product names have been updated. CSLM components and their documentation are updated to reflect the new names:
