Troubleshoot Installation
*
If you run into any errors during installation, do not continue with licensing and configuration. Resolve the errors, uninstall ThingWorx Navigate, and then reinstall it.
If there is a problem with the installation or configuration, the following log files may provide useful information on error handling:
Installer, License Configuration and Authentication Configuration logs: <Install Directory>\ThingWorxNavigate-<version>\installer\logs
Application, Security, and other ThingWorx storage logs: <Install Directory>\ThingWorxNavigate-<version>\ThingworxStorage\logs
Bitrock installer logs: tmp directory of the system.
For setups with PostgreSQL, you may encounter issues connecting to the database using the fully qualified hostname. Perform these PostgreSQL configuration steps to solve the issue:
1. From the <PostgreSQL installation location> folder, open the file pg_hba.conf in a text editor.
2. In the file, find the section IPv4 local connections.
3. Add a new row to that section: host all all md5, and then save and close the file.
4. Restart the PostgreSQL server.
