Apply a PTC Windchill Patch
If you haven’t already applied a PTC Windchill Patch as stated in the “Windchill prerequisites” section of the
Configure ThingWorx Navigate topic, follow these steps:
• For
ThingWorx Navigate 8.5.3 and
Windchill 11.1 M020—Download the PTC Windchill Extension 1.12.4 bundle from the
PTC Software Download page and install the respective
Windchill patch of 11.1 M020.
• For all other versions of ThingWorx Navigate—Install the patch from <installation_directory>\ThingWorxNavigate-<version>\NavigateApp\WindchillPatch.
The required PTC Windchill patch adds several web service endpoints that allow ThingWorx to interact with Windchill.
