1. In a PTC Mathcad worksheet, click where you want to insert the object.
2. On the Input/Output tab, in the Objects group, click Insert Object.
Alternatively, press Ctrl+Shift+O.
The Insert Object dialog window opens.
3. To embed a new object, click Create New and select the target application from the Object Type: list.
4. To embed an existing content from a file, click Create from File and browse to the file location. Click Link to establish a link between the object and the file.
5. Click OK. The Insert Object dialog window closes.
◦ If you select Create New, a blank object is inserted in the worksheet, and a blank file of the selected object type opens.
◦ If you select Create from File, an object that contains the contents of the browsed file is inserted.
