To Evaluate Derivatives Symbolically
To take the derivative of a function, use the derivative operator. For example, to take the derivative of sin:
1. Insert the derivative operator.
2. Place the cursor in the lower placeholder and type the variable of differentiation x.
3. Place the cursor in the upper placeholder and insert the built-in sin function.
4. Type x in the placeholder that appears after sin.
5. Insert the symbolic evaluation operator and press Enter.
