To Customize a Worksheet
By default the worksheet pages are displayed with gridlines and margins in page view.
1. On the Document tab, you can customize the display of your worksheets as follows:
Page Size—Sets the print page size.
Page Orientation—Sets the page orientation to Portrait or Landscape.
Margin Type—Sets the margin type to Standard, Narrow, or Wide.
Show Grid—Toggles the display of gridlines.
Grid Size—Sets the grid size to Standard or Fine.
Page View—Displays the page in print view.
Draft View—Displays the page in draft view. The area to the right of the vertical dashed line is not printable. You can expand the non-printable area to the right and scroll to the left and right using the horizontal scrollbar at the bottom of the worksheet. In this view, the margins, headers, and footers are not displayed.
*
When you switch from draft view to page view, all regions in the non-printable area of the worksheet are hidden. Click the arrow on the right margin of the worksheet to switch back to draft view.
2. Increase or decrease the zoom level of the page using the zoom slider.
3. Add headers and footers and include page number, save date, filename, and file path.
