To Customize a Trace
1. On a plot, select the trace to customize.
2. On the Plots tab, in the Styles group, you can set the following options:
Symbol—Specifies a symbol for each plotted point, or sets Symbol to None.
Line Style—Controls whether the trace is solid, dotted, dashed, or alternating dashes and dots, or sets Line Style to None.
Trace Color—Controls the trace color.
Trace Thickness—Controls the thickness of the trace and of the symbols.
Additional Information
If you set both Line Style and Symbol to None, the trace does not disappear and the last setting remains visible.
If you have many close-packed points you can select None in the Symbol list.
The Line Style setting provides a useful way to identify traces in black and white printouts.
