Plots > Working with Plots > Traces and Axis Expressions > To Add or Delete an Axis Expression

To Add or Delete an Axis Expression
1. On a plot, click an axis expression. If you want to add an axis expression above the current expression, place the cursor to the left of that expression. For all other cursor positions, the axis placeholder appears below the current expression.
2. To add an axis expression, press Shift+Enter.
Alternatively, on the Plots tab, in the Traces group, click Add Trace.
An axis placeholder appears. Type the new axis expression in the placeholder.
3. To delete an axis expression, delete the content of the axis placeholder, and then press Backspace or Delete.
Alternatively, on the Plots tab, in the Traces group, click Remove Trace.
The axis placeholder disappears unless it is the only placeholder for that axis.
Additional Information
A plot must have at least one x-axis expression and one y-axis expression.
