This topic describes the proxy cache and how you can prime the cache with project data from the Integrity Lifecycle Manager server.

When users are ready to work with Sandboxes for the first time, there can be a delay while the proxy loads the required projects and members from the Integrity Lifecycle Manager server. When large volumes of information must be transferred over slow connections—such as for a large software development project—the delays can be significant for users until the proxy cache has received the information.

By priming the proxy, you are downloading project data directly to the proxy machine before any Integrity Lifecycle Manager client has requested the data.
