Configuration Management Policy Options
This section details the policy configuration options for configuration management. Policies are configured through the Integrity Lifecycle Manager administration client; therefore, you must first install the Integrity Lifecycle Manager administration client to configure policies on the server.
By modifying policy options on the Integrity Lifecycle Manager server, you can configure the functionality of configuration management across an entire site and for specified individual projects.
The Integrity Lifecycle Manager administration client provides a policy editor for editing, creating, copying, viewing, and deleting configuration management policies. Editing global policies affects the operation of configuration management on a site-wide basis, while creating a new project policy section allows you to customize the behavior of configuration management for the project you specify.
