States
In Integrity Lifecycle Manager, item types can each have their own set of states to advance through. They can also follow a state model defined by the project administrator, giving greater control over who has access to a specific item type at a given time, as well as who has responsibility for approving the advancement of the state. Items submitted in Integrity Lifecycle Manager go through a customized workflow and different stages. The stage that the item is in is called as a State in Integrity Lifecycle Manager. Managing states is carried out through the States view.
The following attributes for states are available for localization:
Display Name
Description
*
If you open Integrity Lifecycle Manager in a particular locale, although you create or edit the states, the display name and the description are visible only in that particular locale.
For information about fallback for states, see Fallback for Display Name and Description.
