Changing Permissions
Changing permissions through the Integrity Lifecycle Manager administration client is a matter of viewing the permissions on a specific project, subproject, or member, and using the menu commands to select Change Permissions.
Changing permissions through the CLI is done somewhat indirectly; you need to delete specific ACL entries, and then add new ACL entries to reflect the changes in principals and permissions that you want to apply. For example, changing the DowngradeOtherUserLock permission for the group everyone from Allow to Deny means using aa deleteaclentry and aa addaclentry commands.
To change permissions using the Integrity Lifecycle Manager administration client:
1. Open the Integrity Lifecycle Manager administration client, and select the principal you want to change permissions for.
2. To change permissions (whether a user or group), highlight the target principal (whether a user or group), and select > . The Change Permissions dialog box allows you to modify the permissions for the selected principal.
3. In the Permissions area, change the condition of the available permissions by clicking the indicator boxes and toggling through the condition indicators until the box displays the required condition.
You can also click Allow All to allow all permissions, Deny All to deny all permissions, or Clear All to clear all permissions.
4. To accept the changes, click OK. The display pane shows the revised permissions. To see the revised permissions, highlight the target principal, and double click to expand the list of permissions.
