Revising Existing ACLs
You are able to review and revise the existing ACLs for the Authorization Administration program through the Integrity Lifecycle Manager administration client or the CLI.
*
In the CLI, syntax is case sensitive.
For those not comfortable with the CLI, the Integrity Lifecycle Manager administration client is recommended.
The Integrity Lifecycle Manager administration client provides a complete view of all system provided and custom ACLs on the Integrity Lifecycle Manager server. From this view, you can create, edit, copy, and delete ACLs, and you can review ACL inheritance status.
ACLs that inherit permissions from a parent display an inheritance icon
ACLs that break inheritance at the current node display a broken inheritance icon
To view all ACLs, open the Integrity Lifecycle Manager administration client, and select Permissions > All. A complete tree view of all ACLs on the server displays.
CLI EQUIVALENT
aa acls
When working with permissions, note the following:
To change a permission in the Integrity Lifecycle Manager administration client, click the indicator box and toggle through the condition indicators until the box displays a green plus sign indicating an allowed condition.
The following condition indicators apply:
A green plus (+) sign indicates the permission is allowed.
A red minus (-) sign indicates the permission is denied.
A blank box () indicates the permission is cleared.
