Change Package Entries View
Using the Change Package Entries view, you can review all operations that occurred on a selection of change packages or all change packages for a selection of items.
The view groups change package entries from both open and closed change packages. Each group of change package entries is ordered chronologically so that the most recent entry for a given archive is listed first.
*
Change packages are tied to the hostname of the Integrity Lifecycle Manager server. The Change Package Entries view displays groups of entries for each Integrity Lifecycle Manager server alias when that server is represented by multiple aliases (such as a qualified hostname versus localhost). For details about how to consolidate multiple server aliases by updating change package entries in the Integrity Lifecycle Manager database, refer to article 129093 on the PTC Integrity eSupport portal at http://www.ptc.com/support/integrity.htm.
The following information can be displayed in the view:

To configure which columns are visible in the view as well as column order, right-click on a column and select Configure Columns. You can also click and drag to reorder columns in the view. Column customization is saved and remembered the next time you access the client.
By default, the view is sorted by the Date Changed column in chronological order. The first entry in each change package entry group is the most recent entry. Click a column heading to sort the view results by that column. Column sorting sorts groups and does not sort the entries within a group.
To select all rows in the view, press CTRL+A. To copy selected rows, press CTRL+C. Copied rows are stored in the clipboard as tab-separated values, and can be pasted into a spreadsheet or a text editor.
To invert change package or item entry selection, select Invert Selection from the right-click context menu.
You can refresh the view at any time by selecting View > Refresh or by pressing F5.
Reviewing Net Differences
You can see the cumulative effect of change package entries by reviewing entry net differences. In the Change Package Entries view, select a single change package entry, and then select the View Member Net Differences option from the Views menu or the right-click context menu. The Visual Difference window displays a list of all changes made between the member revision you selected and the revision before the selected change packages. For example, if the Change Package Entries view includes member revisions 1.2 and 1.5, selecting revision 1.5 displays all member operations for revisions 1.1 through 1.5. The Visual Difference window displays your member selection on the right and the revision prior on the left.
*
You must customize the right-click shortcut menu to enable the View Member Net Differences option in the view. Right-click an item or change package entry and select Customize This Menu, and click the add interactor (+). Select Configuration Management/Member, and then select View Member Net Differences. For more information, see Customizing Shortcut Menus.
The View Member Net Differences option is disabled if you select more than a single change package entry. The option is also disabled for subproject entries, or entries whose member is no longer in the project. For example, selecting an entry for an add member or drop member operation results in no difference information available.
Filtering Change Package Entries
In the Change Package Entries view, you can use filter options to display only relevant change package entries. You can filter using a case-insensitive text search, or you can filter entries by type, creator, or date changed attributes.
To filter the view using a text search, type a string in the Show data name containing text filter.
To filter the view using attribute filters, click the where attribute filter, and select an attribute filter from the list. You can combine text search filters with attribute filters to further restrict the view results.
To remove an attribute filter, select the filter name and then Remove.
To invert an attribute filter, select the filter name and the “is not” condition. For example, to invert a Date Changed is today filter, click it and select Date Changed is not today to show all change package entries in the view for any day other than today.
To select multiple values for attribute filters, such as Type or Creator:
1. Type text in the text filter.
2. From the results list, select the values you want to filter on and click Add Filter.
To remove values from the selection list, select the values and click Remove Filter.
To replace all values in the selection list with selected values in the results list, click Replace Filter.
3. Click OK to add the selected values to the attribute filter.
To clear all text and attribute filters and restore the view to its default view setting, select where > Reset.
*
Filtering is applied only to visible columns in the view. After filtering is applied, groups with matching entries are expanded automatically. The View Member Net Differences option compares the selected member revision against the earliest visible entry.
