Test Case Development
Test Cases are written as part of a Test Suite document. Test Suites can be authored as single documents, or nested in a hierarchy using Test Groups or included documents. The purpose of including a Test Suite as a sub document would be to re-organize tests for execution purposes or to provide an override of parameters for different configurations or testing scenarios.
Test Cases can be authored to represent both manual and automated testing. For manual testing, test steps, expected results, and pass/fail criteria are detailed in the test case. For automated testing, a link to the external test script, prepared in an external automated test execution product, is detailed in the test case.

The authoring of automated test procedures and test scripts is outside the scope of Integrity Lifecycle Manager.
