CLI EQUIVALENT
im importsegment
1. Select the row where you want to include the segment in the document and select Content > Include to include an existing segment.
2. Select Document if you want to include an existing document. The Finder window opens, allowing you to select the document to include into the current document.
To include a new document, select from the types of content available in the side menu. The Item Details view displays. Your administrator configures available content types. If no types were configured, select New Document.
After you select a new document, complete the Item Details view fields and configure the rest of the document. For more information, see Creating a Document.
3. From the list of available documents by project in the Finder window, select the document that you want to insert. For more information, see Document Finder.
4. Click OK. The document is included as an expanded, sequential part of the parent document. You can edit the segment as if it were a part of the document.
If you would like to see the document in the tree as a reference only, select Content > Toggle Include/Insert.

Your administrator configures which subsegments can be in documents. If you receive an error indicating that you cannot include subsegments into the document in which you are working, contact your administrator.
Document hierarchies do not need to be structured alike. For example, you can include a test document into a requirements document.
If you include a segment into a group document, it is available as read-only.
You can include or insert multiple subdocuments. You can even include multiple subdocuments of the same document within a document. However, only the first subdocument for this document ID shows as included. Subsequent inclusions show as if they are inserted. This means that the first instance is the only one that displays children.
The cyclical relationship icon displays on subsequent inclusions of the same document within a document. This behavior for multiple inclusions of the same document is merely visual. Any export or report of the content still expands the content.
