IMPRINT_LINEAR projects a profile a specified distance from a workplane or to a face, creating edges on the surfaces of the parts through which the profile has passed.

Options

• :IMPRINT_PART - specifies the part to be imprinted.
• :IMPRINT_WP - specifies the workplane containing the profile.
• :IMPRINT_DISTANCE - specifies the distance through which the profile will be imprinted from the active workplane.
• :IMPRINT_TO_PART - specifies the closest face(s) of the specified part to which the profile will be imprinted.
• :IMPRINT_DIR - specifies the imprint direction with respect to the workplane. Choose from the following options:

  Direction Option	Description
  :+W	Imprint in the direction of the positive normal of the workplane containing the profile.
  :-W	Imprint in the direction of the negative normal of the workplane containing the profile.
  :BOTH_SIDES	Imprint to both sides of the workplane. Only active for :IMPRINT_DISTANCE.

• :AUTO_DIRECTION - when set to :YES, OneSpace Designer attempts to set the direction of the imprint operation automatically. The direction toward the part is always chosen. A user-defined direction overrides this option.
• :IMPRINT_KEEP_WP - selects whether to keep the workplane on completion of the linear imprint operation.
• :IMPRINT_KEEP_PROFILE - selects whether to keep the profile on completion of the linear imprint operation.
