AM_CREATE_SECTION terminate action

AM_CREATE_SECTION creates a section view.

Options

:PARENT_VIEW specifies the parent view from which the section view is to derive.
:SECTION-SURFACE specifies that only sectioned surfaces should be displayed in the section view (:ON), or that all aspects of the section view be included.
:SECTION-LINE defines the line to section the parent view:
- :LINE-HORI specifies a horizontal line.
- :LINE-VERTI specifies a vertical line.
- :LINE-TWOPTS specifies a line by two points.
- :LINE-PARTO specifies a line parallel to an existing line.
- :LINE-PERPEND specifies a line perpendicular to an existing line.
- :LINE-REMOVE removes an existing section line.
- :POLYGONP :ON specifies that the following specified lines should be connected segments of the whole section line.
- :BACK undoes the previously-created line segments.
- :ACCEPT completes the present section line definition.
:SECTION-LABEL specifies the text for the section line label.
:DIR reverses the direction of the section view (a toggle switch).
:PREVIEW shows a viewport previewing the section view.

When to use

Use this action to create a view of a sectioned part. The original view is not affected; the section view shows the part as if it had been sectioned.
