PROFILE OF A LINE:
The conditon of a surface in which each line element is specified by a uniform amount of variation from it's nominal location.

PROFILE OF A LINE TOLERANCE ZONE:
Defined by a uniform two dimensional zone limited by two parallel lines that run along the feature length. By default the tolerance zone is bilateral with the nominal geometry but can be specified as unilateral or unequally disposed if desired.
