To Change the Appearance of an Annotation
You can change the appearance of one or more annotations of the same or different types using the Annotations dialog box or the Annotations tab of the ribbon.

The Annotations dialog box and the controls in the Annotations context tab update automatically based on your selection. Only the options that are relevant for the selected annotations appear. For example, if you select a note and a shape, only the options relevant to the note and shape annotations are available.
1. Click the following tabs in the Annotations dialog box to make changes to the selected annotations as described:
Text
1. In the Text box type new text.
2. Click Insert Attribute, and define the parameters.

When two or more notes having the same text contents are edited, then the Text section will display them. If the texts are different, there will be no text displayed.
Gtol—Define the required parameters.
Format—Change the following parameters:
Font Size—In the Font Size box, type or select a new font size.
Background—Click Background and set a new color in the Choose Color dialog box.
Color—Click Color and set a new color in the Choose Color dialog box.
Shape—In the Shape box, select a new shape.
Fill Style—In the Fill Style box, select a new fill style.
Line Width—In the Line Width box, select a new line weight. The new line weight is applied to all the annotation lines including text box borders.
Line Style—In the Line Style box, select a new line style. The new line style will be applied to all the annotation lines including text box borders.
Leader Line Head—In the Leader Line Head box, select a new leader head.
Leader Line Tail—In the Leader Line Tail box, select a new leader tail.
References—Define the required parameters.

The References tab only displays a list of references if they are all common. If not, there will be no references listed.
The annotations update dynamically.
2. To insert an attribute value, click Insert Attribute, and then insert an attribute name, value or both.
3. Select Expanded text to display one line of text for each referenced part. See Example: Expanded Text for more information.
4. To apply an annotation template, click Apply Template, and then select a template from the Annotation Templates dialog box.
5. Click OK. The dialog box closes.
