Supporting Creo Unite Technology
The Creo View Adapter for Creo Parametric provides two methods of publishing 3D CAD assembly files.
The legacy data conversion method of importing native non-Creo data, opening it in Creo Parametric, and then saving the resulting Creo Parametric files.
The newer Creo Unite Technology is an integrated design technology that reads and publishes non-Creo data without converting the native CAD data to Creo Parametric, and without having to install the native CAD tool. This is applicable to design data of Creo Elements/Direct Modeling, CATIA, SolidWorks, Inventor, and NX.
Native parts and assemblies can be opened and published standalone, or added as components to Creo Parametric assemblies and then published.
