Creo Parametric Adapter Prerequisites
Check the following items to ensure that your system is able to run the Creo View Adapter for Creo Parametric:
The Creo View Adapter for Creo Parametric must be supported on the operating system, Creo version, and meet the minimum requirements as shown in the Software Matrices available at:
http://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/doc/refdoc.jsp
Prior to configuring the Creo View Adapter for Creo Parametric, validate your Creo environment. Creo must be correctly configured and licensed, or the adapter will not work.
The license features required by the Creo View Adapter for Creo Parametric depend on the nature of the data being published.  As a general rule the adapter requires access to a license that combines all of the features used by the CAD authors.
Ensure that your operating system has adequate CPU and storage systems.
Confirm and note the command line used to run Creo.
*
On Windows, you can confirm the path and command used to run Creo by right-clicking on the shortcut icon used to run Creo and select Properties. The path and command to run Creo appear in the Target field.
*
On Windows, do not use network drives for workers -- for example, do not install the Creo View adapters on a network drive, or rely on any other installation or data that resides on a network drive.
The adapter operates under a user account that must be configured to run Creo.
*
When configured as a service using the Worker Daemon, the Log On As account of the service must also be configured to run Creo.
If you attempt to load CAD data into Creo and have problems, those same problems will prevent the adapter from converting this data to the Creo View format.
