Correcting the Rendering of Double Byte Character Strings
The Planar Annotation option corrects issues in the rendering of Double Byte Character Strings (DBCS) strings in planar annotations using the Creo Parametric tessellator.
Go to the Advanced > Miscellaneous tab. In the Creo Parametric Tessellator row, select the Planar Annotation.

Do not confuse Planar Annotations with Flat to Screen Annotations. Planar Annotations are rendered on a fixed plane and stick with the plane when the model is rotated in Creo View. Flat to Screen Annotations are rendered flat to the screen irrespective of model orientation. Flat to Screen annotations do not support DBCS strings.
