Publishing Creo Parametric Texture Maps
To publish Creo Parametric Texture Maps, the Adapter for Creo Parametric Texture Maps > Convert Recipe option on the Recipe Editor Advanced > Miscellaneous tab must be selected, and the path to the texture images must be configured correctly (the option is enabled by default.)
Configure the path to the texture images as follows:
For Texture Image files from the default Creo Parametric library (<Creo>\Common Files\graphic-library\textures\) or from the configured texture search path (Creo Parametric Configuration Option:texture_search_path <path>), if the worker is also using the same configuration, the images are available at publish time.
For Texture Map images from the local file system of the CAD authoring machine that are not available to the worker's Creo Parametric session, set the Creo Parametric Configuration Option save_texture_with_model yes. This configures the CAD authoring user's Creo Parametric sessions to embed the texture map images inside the saved model file.
The Creo View Adapter for Creo Parametric based worker extracts the image files to the conversion folder as part of the publishing process.
These image files then need to stay alongside the published PVS and OL files in order for Creo View to be able to view them.
For Texture Map images that are stored with the source Creo models, configure the Adapter for Creo Parametric to temporarily add the current model's folder to the Creo Parametric Configuration Option texture_search_path <path>. At publish time select the Adapter for Creo Parametric Texture Maps > Modify Texture Search Path Recipe option on the Recipe Editor Advanced > Miscellaneous tab must be selected.
