Ignoring Assembly Features when Publishing an Assembly
When publishing an assembly that contains assembly level features with the Creo View Adapter forCreo Parametric configured to publish in Minimum Memory Mode, it will normally fail-over to Component Mode so that the assembly level features are correctly represented.  However, when publishing Positioning Assembly representation for such an assembly the adapter will fail with an error:
proe2pv Error:56122: Cannot convert asm <assembly> name <name> on its own
You can configure the adapter to ignore assembly level features in the assembly being published, allowing Minimum Memory Mode and Positioning Assembly publishing to continue, and to generate assembly representations that do not include assembly level features.
To configure this option, open the proe2pv recipe file in text editor and add the following line:
adapter/assyFeatList=
