Batch Print Engine Overview
The Batch Print Engine, pvsprint, performs batch printing jobs in conjunction with Windchill. You must have a license for the Batch Print Engine. The license and installation information is available in the Software Matrices at the Reference Documents site. You can use the print engine to print any file viewable in Creo View, except for illustration views (ISO). You can use the Batch Print Engine to add watermarks to your print jobs.
Batch printing is available only on Windows. Configure the Batch Print Engine using the configuration tool, and then use server controlled printing process Batch Print requests from the server, for example, Windchill Print Services.
Command line printing is not supported for the Batch Print Engine. The PVIEW_BATCH command line can be used, however, and the arguments that are supported are documented in the PVIEW_BATCH Command Line Syntax topic in the Appendices.
