Prerequisites for the Creo View Adapter for Inventor
Full Inventor prerequisites
Make sure that Inventor can be started by the user account that will be used to run Inventor in worker mode.
The Creo View Adapter for Inventor must be supported on the operating system and meet the minimum requirements as shown in the Adapters Software Matrices: http://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/doc/refdoc.jsp.
Your operating system must have adequate CPU and storage capacity.
You cannot publish multisheet drawings as a single viewable DWF file with multiple sheets.
The Autodesk Inventor base pack must be installed and licensed. Extension packs are also supported, but not required.
Inventor Apprentice prerequisites
For Inventor Apprentice you must have Inventor or the freeware Inventor View installed.
Inventor Apprentice requires no application license.
Inventor Apprentice does not support Windchill file synchronization.
You cannot publish multisheet drawings as a single viewable DWF file with multiple sheets.
 
Data that cannot be opened in Inventor cannot be converted into the Creo View format.
Inventor Apprentice loads files more quickly than Inventor does.
