Prerequisites for the Creo View Adapter for Inventor
Full Inventor prerequisites
• Make sure that Inventor can be started by the user account that will be used to run Inventor in worker mode.
• The Creo View Adapter for Inventor must be supported on the operating system and meet the minimum requirements as shown in the Adapters Software Matrices: http://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/doc/refdoc.jsp.
• Your operating system must have adequate CPU and storage capacity.
• You cannot publish multisheet drawings as a single viewable DWF file with multiple sheets.
• The Autodesk Inventor base pack must be installed and licensed. Extension packs are also supported, but not required.
Inventor Apprentice prerequisites
• For Inventor Apprentice you must have Inventor or the freeware Inventor View installed.
• Inventor Apprentice requires no application license.
• Inventor Apprentice does not support Windchill file synchronization.
• You cannot publish multisheet drawings as a single viewable DWF file with multiple sheets.
 
• Data that cannot be opened in Inventor cannot be converted into the Creo View format.
• Inventor Apprentice loads files more quickly than Inventor does.
