You must have PTC License server installed before you install Creo View. If you are updating your software to a later release, you must update your PTC licenses. See Updating the License Server for details. You need not install PTC License server if you purchased uncounted node-locked licenses, or if you are installing Creo View Lite or Creo View Express.
