Excluding Non-solid Geometries from Interference Calculations
When performing Interference Detection queries, you can choose to exclude non-solid geometries (surfaces) from the calculation.
Benefits and Description
Non-solid geometries are included in the calculation by default when running Interference Detection in Approximate mode. Clear the new Include Non-solid Geometries option to exclude non-solid geometries, such as surfaces, from interference detection calculations.
You can change the setting to include or exclude non-solid geometries in the following locations:
Include Non-solid Geometries—In the Creo View Options dialog box, select Model-Interference.
Non-solid geometries—In the Creo View Clash Adapter Recipe Editor, select Parameters > Miscellaneous.
ignore_surfaces—In the pview_batch command line syntax for batch interference detection
