To Filter Parts
1. In the upper data panel, click
Layers. The
Layers pane opens with layers and parts.
2. At the bottom of the Part partition, select Filter. The Filter Parts dialog box opens.
3. Set the following parameters for the filter:
◦ To filter the parts by text in the name, select Names and then select Matching or Not Matching. Type all or part of the name in the Text field.
◦ To display parts in the product structure, select Only parts selected in the product structure.
◦ To display the parts that contain layers that are selected, select Only parts containing layers that are selected.
◦ To display visibility and forced states for selected layers, select Only show visibility and forced states for selected layers.
4. To make your setting the default, select Make Default.
5. Click OK. The view is filtered.
