To Create, Clear, or Modify a File Cache
The file cache options are available only when you view content from Windchill.
1. Click > . The Creo View Options dialog box opens.
2. On the left, under General, select File Cache. The General—File Cache options open.
3. To create a file cache, select Enable File Cache.
4. To set a location for the file cache, follow these steps:
a. Under Location, click Browse. The Open dialog box opens.
b. Browse to a location for the file cache and click OK.

By default, the file cache is created in your %APPDATA%\ptc\ProductView subfolder.

5. Next to Cache Size, select or type a file size in gigabytes.
6. To clear the file cache, click Clear Cache Contents.
7. Click OK.
