Using Wildcards to Retrieve Part Names
You can enter wildcard characters to find names. You cannot use wildcards in place of version numbers. This is the match syntax:
• An asterisk (*) can replace any number of characters.
• A question mark (?) can replace any one character.
• You can type a question mark alone to get a complete listing of the appropriate names in the directory.
You also can search for an asterisk or a question mark instead of using these characters as wildcards. To search for a character, precede it with a back slash (\). For example, to search for part names that contain an asterisk, search for \*.
