To Set Line Style Options
1. Click > .
The Creo Illustrate Options dialog box opens.
2. Next to Showing, select Illustration.
3. On the left, under General, select Line Styles. The General-Line Styles page opens.
4. To add a line style, perform these steps:
a. Click Add. The Line Style: Edit dialog box opens.
b. Type a name and then define the line style.
▪ Solid
▪ Dashed—Set the Line and Gap values. You can also set the Minimum end length.

If a line has a value greater than 0, the gap following the line must also be greater than 0.

▪ Dotted—Set the Spacing. To apply automatic spacing, select Auto.

If you select Auto, the Spacing option will be disabled.

c. Click OK. The new line style is added to the list.
5. To edit a line style, perform these steps:
a. Select the line style from the list and click Edit. The Line Style: Edit dialog box opens.
b. Edit the name or style setting.
▪ Solid
▪ Dashed—Set the Line and Gap values. You can also set the Minimum end length.
▪ Dotted—Set the Spacing. To apply automatic spacing, select Auto.
c. Click OK. The line style is edited.
6. To copy a line style, perform these steps:
a. Select a line style from the list and click Copy. The Line Style: Edit dialog box opens.
b. Type a new name and then change the line style settings as required.
c. Click OK. The line style is copied.
7. To delete a line style, select the line style from the list and click Delete. The line style is removed from the list.

Line styles that are in use cannot be deleted. Use the Delete Line Style dialog box to choose a replacement line style.

8. Click Apply to apply the options and keep dialog box open, or click OK to apply the options and close the dialog box.
