1. Click File > Save Figure As > Save As Image File. The Save Figure As Image dialog box opens.

2. In the File name box, type a name or accept the default.

3. In the Type box, select a file format.

4. Click Save. The Save Figure As Image- Settings dialog box opens.

5. Set the properties for the format. See Settings for Saving or Publishing Image Files for more information.

6. Click OK. The settings are applied and the image is saved. If you created a map file, it is saved to the same location as the image.
