To Replace an sBOM Part

Creating and Editing an sBOM or an eBOM > To Replace an sBOM Part

You cannot replace the following sBOM items:

• Root Illustrations

• Schematic items

1. Click Tools > Edit Structure. The Structure Edit mode Home tab opens.

2. Click

Replace Part. The

Replace Part dialog box opens.

3. To filter the eBOM, select Show only parts not in the sBOM. The available parts are shown.

4. Select the sBOM part to replace and the replacement eBOM part.

• You can also first select a part, and then click

Replace Part

• You cannot use eBOM items that are already in the sBOM tree

5. Click OK. The sBOM part is replaced.
